JF Morin, E. Tepper and Scott Shackelford (from the Ostrom Workshop, at Indiana University Bloomington) have received a US$ 200,000 grant from the Carnegie Corp. of New York to expand their study of governance in space.

The Chair organized a workshop in Québec City on Sept 30 and Oct 1 on the evolution of international institutions. Applying ecological metaphors, we highlighted the multifaceted feedback effects among populations of international institutions and the ways in which these shape their evolution.

Jean-Frédéric Morin obtains $ 240'000 from the Canadia Foundation for Innovation, the Quebec Governement, and the Centre for International Governance Innovation to build a new database exploring overlaps between trade, environment and investement regimes.
