With a very rich international career, Patrice Dallaire lived in China for several years as Quebec Representative in Beijing (2003-2006), then as Vice-President and General Manager of the Chinese subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et de placement du Québec (2008-2013).
During his career, he was also Executive Director (ad interim) and Deputy Director of the Institut de l'énergie et de l'environnement de la Francophonie (2001-2003; 2006-2008), Special Advisor (International Affairs) at the Premier's Office and Deputy Chief of Staff and Special Advisor on Parliamentary Affairs in Ottawa. As Diplomatic Adviser to the Premier of Québec, he was notably responsible for the latter's economic and political missions.
In the private sector, he worked in the International Affairs Division of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (1987-1991) where he was notably Director of Trade Promotion for Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.
